We’re looking at ways to get people talking and thinking about the way we’re drinking. We’re looking at a new Nova Scotia where a change in culture will mean a place where you feel comfortable and confident saying no to one more and a time "when a drink is a drink… and company is the pleasure."

Who are we and what are we doing?

We are a group of health professionals working in the South Shore, South West, Annapolis Valley, Colchester East Hants, Cumberland, Pictou County, Guysborough Antigonish-Strait, Cape Breton and Capital Health Districts and the IWK Health Centre looking to change the culture of drinking in Nova Scotia so that there is more enjoyment and less hurt in our everyday lives. Here’s a chance to start raising awareness. We’re looking at ways to start discussions, get people talking and get people thinking about the way we’re drinking. What do you think about the way we’re drinking? Do you ever think we sometimes go a little too far? Do you think we realize it? Or do you think there are ways we can change it for the better?

Does this poem sound familar?

The 'WHEN' poem in the video above is a take on Rudyard Kipling's poem 'IF'
